Ljubljana is easily accessible from several international airports located within a few hours’ drive. The following airports are the most convenient for participants arriving to Slovenia:

  • Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport (LJU) – located about 25 km north of Ljubljana (approx. 30 minutes by car). It offers regular flights to major
    European hubs such as Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, Paris, and London.
  • Zagreb International Airport (ZAG) – about 140 km or 1.5–2 hours drive from Ljubljana.
  • Trieste Airport (TRS) – located in Italy, approximately 120 km or 1.5 hours from Ljubljana.
  • Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE) – about 230 km or 2.5–3 hours drive.
  • Graz Airport (GRZ) – located in Austria, about 190 km or 2 hours drive.

  • Private transfers, shuttle services and car rentals are available from all airports directly to Ljubljana. Train and bus connections are also available from neighboring countries.

About Ljubljana

Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, is a vibrant and green European city with a population of about 300,000. It combines the charm of a small town with the facilities of a modern capital. The city is known for its friendly atmosphere, rich cultural life, and beautiful architecture shaped by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
The city center is mostly pedestrian, allowing visitors to enjoy the riverbanks, cafés, and historical landmarks on foot.

Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana

The Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana (UL PF), is located in the very heart of Ljubljana, just a few steps from the main city square (Prešeren Square), the river Ljubljanica, and the central market.

The Faculty building, an architectural landmark designed in the early 20th century, is within walking distance from most hotels, restaurants, and cultural sites.
